Revision of the “UM Sports Facilities Rules”

The “UM Sports Facilities Rules” (hereinafter ‘the Rules’) is revised on 22 March 2024, and the revision of the Rules will take effect from 1 May 2024 onwards. Please refer to the table below for changes.

  • Major changes of “UM Sports Facilities Rules”:
    • Update applicable sports activity at each venue
    • Emphasize the difference between individual and group bookings; highlight eligible usage including acceptable sports activity, user capacity, and eligible sports facilities user who made the individual booking must be one of the venue users, plus booking is for practice only (private teaching is not allowed)
    • Update the requirement of booking rescheduling upon cancellation due to exceptional circumstances to be made without 14 calendar days
