Archery Range

Opening Hours: 08:00 – 22:00
(Daily lawn maintenance is temporarily scheduled from 08:00 to 10:00; kindly contact SFM team if user would like to use this period)

Users must assure the supervision of instructors during the course of activities. Instructors must have valid Archery Level I or above coach certificates recognized and issued by the relevant national sports association (NSA).

Fee:

  • Students: MOP60/venue/hour; with lighting: MOP100/hour
  • Staff: MOP80/venue/hour; with lighting: MOP100/hour
  • Alumni: MOP120/venue/hour; with lighting: MOP100/hour

Lighting:
Dec to Apr: 18:00 or after
May to Nov: 19:00 or after

Archery Range Booking Procedure

  1. An applicant should submit a completed “e-form” for the first time (the applicant needs to process a valid Archery Level I or above Instructor Certificate and upload it to the e-form)

  2. After receiving a confirmation email from the office, bookings could be made via the “Sports Facilities Booking System” (Note bene: A UMPASS account is required to log in to see this page)
  3. Booking via the on-line booking system may only be made based on the validity period of the confirmed “Archery Instructor Certificate”

Advance Group Booking of UM Sports Facilities For UM units

For UM staff who would like to make an advance group booking for sports activities for their respective units, please use the NEW eForm for application:

Note for application:

  1. SAO and RC colleagues can check the availability of most of the sports facilities HERE. For other colleagues, please contact the OSA office.
  2. All bookings should be made 2 weeks in advance.
  3. All sports facilities can only be booked for their designated use.
  4. The venue may be closed by OSA without prior notice if it is not suitable for use.
  5. To allow more units to be able to book certain sports facilities, for regular booking, each unit may only submit one regular booking at one (type of) sports facility for 2 hours per week.
  6. All reservation time must start at the beginning of the hour and end at the end of the hour, i.e. 10:00 – 11:00, but not 10:30 – 11:30.
  7. To maximize the usage of sports facilities, for indoor sports facilities, please avoid booking time of 20:00 – 22:00, but book 19:00 – 21:00 or 21:00 – 23:00.

Note for cancellation:

  1. For cancellation of approved booking:
    • Please email to OSA (osa.facility@um.edu.mo) about the cancellation at least 8 days in advance.
  2. For cancellation within 8 days, please provide a justification in your email.

Restriction on group booking of Archery Range:

  • A maximum ratio of 1:20 between coach and users. Any users not holding a recognised and valid archery Level I coach certificate or above, issued by the relevant NSAs, should be accompanied by at least one coach, who must be the holder of a recognised and valid archery Level I or above coach certificate

Group Bookings by non-UM units

The below units/organizations may request booking of UM Sports Facilities:

  1. Government departments
  2. Non-profit organizations
  3. Sports associations
  4. Private sectors

The aforementioned non-UM units may request to hold their sports-related or other types of events or activities.  The booking is subject to availability and priority.

Procedures:

  1. Non-UM unit should fill in this online application form providing event details for preliminary review.
  2. Upon preliminary review, non-UM unit will be informed to submit either an official letter in hard copy to the University or email to Director of OSA — Ms. Grace Chau (gracekcc@um.edu.mo) with cc. to SFM Team (osa.facility@um.edu.mo) and Ms. Ivy Lio (ivycilio@um.edu.mo) to request for sports venue booking. The letter or email should include and not limited to:
    • date of use
    • time of use
    • sports facilities
    • purpose of use
    • details and scale of planned activity (ies)
    • other related information
  3. The request must be made at least 30 calendar days prior to the day of use. Each application is only permitted to book venues up to 3 months in advance. Special cases are subject to the approval of Director of OSA.
  4. Director of OSA (DOSA) and/or UM authority will determine base on the feasibility.
  5. Booking, if accepted, will be informed via reply email or letter.
  6. Final confirmation of the booking can only be made after the group settled the rental fee for the booking.

Archery Range is located located near Cotton Tree Circle:
