A Baseball Training Camp at Zhongshan was successfully held

17 students concluded their two-day, one-night training camp with the Zhongshan Panda Baseball Club in Xiaolan, Zhongshan earlier this month.

Under the guidance of coaches from the Zhongshan Panda Baseball Club, students participated in various training activities, including batting, fielding, pitching, and base running. These training activities aimed to improve students’ baseball skills and fitness levels while allowing them to experience the charm of baseball sports. They learnt about rules and basics of Baseball, Softball and Baseball 5.

Students expressed that the training camp was a rare opportunity for them to gain exposure to more baseball knowledge and skills. It also expanded their social networks and horizons. They thanked the Zhongshan Panda Baseball Club for providing such an opportunity and expressed their hope for more similar activities in the future to provide them with more learning and growth opportunities.

Coaches from the Zhongshan Panda Baseball Clubwere also satisfied and pleased with the successful conclusion of the training camp. They commented that the students performed exceptionally well during the two-day training and expressed confidence and expectations for the future development of baseball sports in UM.

OSA aims to further promote and develope the sports of Baseball, Softball and Baseball 5 in UM in the future, and the planning of formation of such teams are in the work.
