Suspension of Outdoor Basketball Court No. 10 and 11 until further notice (1 April 2026 onwards)

Dear Students and Colleagues,

To cope with the “Construction works of S5 and S6 Postgraduate House” adjacent to S8 University Mall and S9 Shiu Pong College, the Outdoor Basketball Courts No. 10 and 11 will be closed for the duration of the project until further notice.

Affected by the above project, the two basketball courts and the surrounding areas will have the following arrangements and conditions:

• Venue closure: To ensure safety, the two basketball courts will be temporarily closed and locked for use from 1 April 2026 onwards until further notice.
• Environmental impact: Dust and noise will be generated during construction. Users and nearby individuals are advised to take note.
