In view of the development of the Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia, and to cope with the resumption of classroom teaching on 15 Sept 2021, the UM Sports Facilities will be further reopened.
Phase 2: For all UM Students and Staff ONLY (after resumption of classroom teaching, from 15 Sept 2021 onwards)
(UM alumni, staff’s family members, other UM Sports Facilities User Card Holders and all guests are NOT eligible at the phase)

- UM Sports Complex (N8, Indoor Sports Facilities) : 07:00 – 23:00, 7 days a week
- Outdoor Sports Facilities: 08:00 – 22:00, 7 days a week
- UM Swimming Pool:
- Mon*: 13:00 – 22:00
- Tue to Fri: 07:30 – 13:30, 15:00 – 22:00
- Sat, Sun and PHs: 10:30 – 13:30, 15:00 – 22:00* Weekly pool cleaning is scheduled for every Monday morning, except for public holidays. If the cleaning day falls on a public holiday, the pool will open from 10:30 – 13:30 and 15:00 – 22:00. The weekly pool cleaning work will be carried on the day following the public holiday(s) in the same week
- Mini Fitness Room (N1) : 07:00-23:00, 7 days a week
(The Temporary “UM Resource Booking System” for N1 Mini Fitness Room Booking will be suspended on 14 Sept, no reservation is required afterwards)

Extension of Expiration Date of Swimming Pass of UM Staff and Students |
The expiration date of Swimming Passes of UM staff and students which are valid before 4 Aug 2021 (the closure date of UM Sports Facilities due to COVID-19) will be extended for 50 days (i.e. days between approx. 4 Aug – 14 Sept 2021).

Things to note for users:

- Users must register by presenting UM campus card before accessing the facility
- Users must:
- present the “Macau Health Code “ from the Health Bureau Website (only green code can access facilities)
- wear a mask
- measure body temperature
Other notes:

- In this phase, UM alumni, staff’s family members, other UM Sports Facilities User Card Holders and all guests are NOT eligible to use the facilities
- The valid date of the aforementioned personnel’s pass (e.g. UM Sports Facilities User Card, Swimming Pool Pass) will continue to be frozen and will be extended when the sports facilities are fully reopened in the future.
- All individual bookings made during 4 – 10 Aug by the aforementioned personnel before the closure of UM Sports Facilities will be rearranged when the sports facilities are fully reopened in the future.
- Group booking by non-UM units is temporarily not accepted.
- If the government implements another Nucleic Acid Test of Covid-19 for all Macau citizens, all UM Sports Facilities will be closed immediately under further notice.
- “Sports Bureau Hours” are temporary suspended.
Users are advised to observe personal and environmental hygiene. Your kind understanding and cooperation with relevant arrangements for epidemic prevention are much appreciated.
The Office of Sports Affairs takes health as the primary consideration, and will consider to reopen other sports facilities according to the novel coronavirus pneumonia development, it is planned to further open to UM alumni, staff’s family members and other eligible users towards the end of Sept 2021.
