【Sports Activities】: UM Staff – 2024 Summer Diabolo Parent-Child Class

What is Diabolo?

Diabolo is a traditional Chinese sport that requires fast reaction, accurate timing, agile movements, and coordination to complete various actions on the string and in the air. Diabolo helps to improve one’s reaction, agility and movement coordination, is a full-body exercise which can train concentration, so it is very suitable for children!

2023 Interschool Diabolo Competition

The Office of Sports Affairs (OSA) will organize a parent-child pickleball experience class and interest classes during summer. UM Staff are welcome to register and try diabolo with their children, enjoy parent-child fun together!

Diabolo Parent-Child Experience Class (FREE)

  • Date: 21 July (Sun)
  • Time:
    • 6 – 9 year-old：10:00 – 11:00
    • 10 year-old or above：11:00 – 12:00
  • Location: UM Sports Complex – 3/F Dance Room
  • Target: UM Staff and family members
  • Quota: 12 parent-child each class (first-come-first-served)
  • Fee: FREE
  • Registration Period: from now on until 15 July

Diabolo Parent-Child Interest Class (5 Sessions)

  • Date：28 July, 4, 11, 18, 25 August (Every Sun)
  • Time：
    • 6 – 9 year-old：10:00 – 11:00
    • 10 year-old or above：11:00 – 12:00
  • Location: UM Sports Complex – 3/F Dance Room
  • Target: UM Staff and family members
  • Quota: 12 parent-child each class (first-come-first-served)
  • Fee: MOP200/each parent-child (total 5 sessions)
  • Registration Period: from now on until 15 July

Remarks:

  • Registration is limited to UM Staff and his/her child
  • Staff who successfully registered for the interest class will receive payment notification by email
